yes, i think i may be crazy... but i feel that God has put it on my heart to homeschool and I don't know where to start. I have left a message for someone i was referred to at the RI co regional office but wondered if anyone else homeschools and could give some insight. my daughter is in 1st grade.
Thanks!

That is so awesome! I don't really have any advice, but just wanted to encourage you! My Pastor's wife homeschooled their 3 children and let them decide when they wanted to go to public school. The oldest is in high school @ Morning Star in Davenport and the youngest is in, I think, 5th grade at the same school. Their middle child, would be in 7th or 8th grade decided she would like to stay at home for a while longer. Anyway, I know it has been such a blessing to their family and the kids have all really enjoyed it, as well as making their own decisions as to when to enter the schooling system, if ever! I do know and have looked at some books at borders that I will probably get more into when Esther is older! Congrats on your obedience to your Father!! Do you find this valuable?

I sent you a message that I hope goes to your email box, but just in case, am putting a note on here. I have homeschooled for 4 years and would be happy to help you in anyway that I can but it would be easier if you called me and we can talk in person. My email is r.kirkwood@mchsi.com and you can email me your phone or I can reply and send you my phone. Blessings.
