yes, i am a big fan of the spray park...though if you want some FREE places...there is a fountain down by stoney creek inn (downtown moline) that the kids can run through. sooooo fun. i'm also a frequent visitor to stephen's park in moline. was just there tonight. :)

We live near Vander Veer Park in Davenport. So if you are ever over in IA, try it out...beautiful pond, ducks to feed, small playground, fountains (no wading though), lots of beautiful flowers and plenty of space to run around and play. I think the Conservatory is free to the public on Tuesdays. It is small, but fun to look around at all the exotic plants indoors.

We're right by Meier Park and McManus (aka Rocket Park) Park in Bettendorf so we're there a LOT. But we also like to go to the Family Museum and play in their "water park" out back. We were just there Sunday afternoon. Val didn't have her swimsuit (we'll do that in the future!) but they provide aprons so she didn't get soaked until she stuck her foot in. There's lots of room to run around and it's all enclosed so she can't get too far. On nice Sunday afternoons it's empty, so it's very relaxing!

Do you have a family pass to the museum or how much does it cost? We have never been there, but want to try...

"Do you have a family pass to the museum or how much does it cost? We have never been there, but want to try..."I think that the museum is $6 or around there. They do have a free weekend though. Later in the summer, like July or August, the QC area has a fun family free weekend. The museum, the zoo, and a few other things will have free admission!! 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

We have the triple Membership (Zoo, Putnam Museum..you're not far from there! and the Family Museum). It's $190 and I think it's SOOOOO worth it! It's reciprocal so if you got to museums/zoos in other states, there may be a museum that's also a part and you get in free. The Museum of Science and Industry and Field Museum up in Chicago are both a part. We're just a few minutes from the Family. It's $5 for 2 and up.

Try Stephen's Park in Moline! We love it. On 7th St and maybe 10 or 11 Ave? Also the zoo is very economical! I agree with the spray fountain down in Moline by Stoney Creek Inn. We go there after supper sometimes. Also just walking along the river is a lot of fun. There are always ducks to watch. Plus there are markers to show distance and we can get in a little exercise at the same time!
